Water Purification
When done right, water purification can have enormous green effects, such as by saving valuable fresh water, producing healthy, purified water, and helping to keep the environment safe and clean. The membrane filtration system is extremely effective in separating contaminants or removing elements that pollute water, and is an economical long-term solution for end-users such as plant owners and institutions.
Dunwell’s membrane filtration system combines Ultrafiltration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO). UF removes suspended solids and micro-organisms to produce water with high purity and low silt density, while RO treats the UF effluent further to remove salts, bacterial spores and even bacteria and viruses. The result is the best water quality available in the market. Our RO System also removes odors and contaminants of all kinds to produce pure water in compliance with the Hong Kong Drinking Water Standard
How it works
Applications
- Seawater Purification
- Lake water purification
- When a lake is inshore and contaminated by seawater, direct extraction with a simple filtration process is no longer viable. Our state-of-the-art RO and filtration system targets raw lake water with high concentration of salts and suspended solids, purifying clear water for uses such as irrigation and cooling.
- Secondary treated effluent purification
- City supply water purification
- Sea water desalination
- Rainwater recycling
- Dunwell’s custom rainwater recycling system incorporates sand filters, activated carbon and UV sterilization and is ideal for clients looking to collect, filter and sterilize rainwater for irrigation or toilet flushing purposes.
